Garlic Festival

Gilroy celebrated it's 2002 Garlic Festival on the weekend of July 26th. We had always planned on going, especially since we both love garlic. Who doesn't?!?

We left our house bright and early only to show up 3 hours before they opened the gates. This insured our spot in line. We were the second car to pull into the parking lot that morning.

While standing in the growing lineup of garlic enthusiasts I heard a familiar voice. I turned around to see a dear friend that I used to work with at Desktop Products, Maggie. We joined Maggie and her son Joe and went to see what this year's garlic festival had to offer.

For a little more information about Gilroy's Garlic Festival, go the Garlic Festival homepage.

Avoiding garlic for the next few weeks.

Thanks, Maggie and Joe for showing us around the festival. Everyone has to check out Gilroy's Garlic Festival at least once. It's always the last full weekend of July. Get there at least an hour early!
