Jennifer and I went and played tourist in San Francisco. It was November 18th, 2000. The night after lights were put up on the buildings along Embarcaderro. We walked along Pier 39, saw an artist create a new painting, listened to the smelly sea lions, and took a few photographs.

Behind us is Alcatraz. Can't see it very well in this picture. But we'll take more.

Don't ask me why I have this one. Jennifer asks me all the time. I just liked how it looked.

The buildings by the Embarcaderro lit up for Christmas.

They look beautiful from the drive along the Embarcaderro.

Posing for one more shot.

It was cold that evening. We walked around for several hours. Watched many interesting people. Most of whom, we're sure, were watching everyone else too.  Hard to tell the tourists from the residents as it appeared everyone was enjoying the sites as much as we were.
